The Realm Series
THE REALM: THE AWAKENING BEGINS (Atlas edition)
In a world where dreams are more real than not, and harsh realities collide with visions of eternity, only one god can rule. Through Adan, a young Spirit Priest, and Graisia, a filthy, “throw away” orphan, supernatural powers have pitted themselves against each other with the town of Sawtong as their battleground and the hearts of those who live there as their prize.
This edition is a rerelease of the original, but with hand drawn MAPS in the back!
This is one of the most intriguing and engaging books I have read in a while. The descriptions of real and dreams are so vivid and the story increasingly suspenseful; it’s a “you can’t put it down” type of book. Looking forward to part 2!

The Realm: The Awakening Begins is one heckofa rollercoaster ride! Suspense, fear, joy, love, peace, hopelessness and hope all wrapped up in one book with great, believable characters. Ross certainly has the ability to make you feel you are truly “there”.
As a homeschooler, this is a book I will share with students in our local Co-op. The hope it brings while wrapped around such a great story will encourage many a reader, no matter what age. I have read it, (I’m 44), my son is reading it, (he’s 15) and any age will be touched by the honesty portrayed by Ross’ characters.
Get this book! And read it to your kids!
